We use Omron PLC and HMI units from Japan, European power supplies, and steel-reinforced drive belts on sealed bearings. These are industrial components designed for continuous duty - not consumer-grade parts dressed up as industrial.

Because we design and build every Kangastop ourselves in Richards, NSW, we know every component and can source and fit replacement parts quickly. We're not dependent on overseas supply chains for warranty support.

DRIVE MOTOR & SERVO ENCODER
INDUSTRIAL SERVO SYSTEM
A servo drive encoder with constant feedback delivers our positioning accuracy and long motor life. Servo systems are used in the most demanding CNC applications for good reason.
DRIVE BELTS
STEEL REINFORCED BUILD
All drive belts are steel reinforced and matched to extruded aluminium drive pulleys - enclosed in the aluminium housing to protect from dust and debris in the cutting environment.
BEARINGS & HOUSINGS
SEALED, INDUSTRIAL GRADE
Sealed bearings and housings protect the drive system from contamination. Sealed means maintenance-free for the life of the unit in normal operation.
FIXINGS & FASTENERS
STAINLESS STEEL THROUGHOUT
Every fixing in every Kangastop is stainless steel. In a cutting environment - with coolant, aluminium swarf, and humidity - stainless steel simply lasts longer than alternatives.

WARRANTY FAQ
DOES THE 10-YEAR WARRANTY REALLY COVER BOTH PARTS AND LABOUR?
Yes. Both parts and labour are covered for the full 10-year period. If a component fails due to a manufacturing defect, we'll supply the replacement part and cover the labour to fit it - at no cost to you. This is what makes the Kangastop warranty genuinely industry-leading.
HOW LONG DOES A WARRANTY REPAIR TAKE?
This varies depending on the nature of the fault. Many issues can be diagnosed remotely and resolved with a replacement part dispatched the same or next business day. For issues requiring an on-site service visit, we schedule as quickly as possible and prioritise warranty work, as we understand every day of downtime costs you money.
WHAT IF A PART IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE AFTER SEVERAL YEARS?
We use industrial-grade components from established manufacturers - Omron have been supplying industrial automation equipment for decades, and our other key components are similarly long-lived. Where a specific part is no longer available, we'll supply an equivalent or upgraded replacement at no charge under the warranty.
IS THE WARRANTY TRANSFERRABLE IF I SELL THE MACHINE?
Contact us to discuss transferability. In general, the warranty is registered to the original purchaser, but we aim to be reasonable - a well-maintained Kangastop should deliver many years of reliable service to any owner. Call us to discuss the specifics of your situation.
WHAT MAINTENANCE DOES A KANGASTOP REQUIRE TO KEEP THE WARRANTY?
Normal operational use of the machine as described in the operator's manual is all that's required. There's no mandatory service interval that must be performed by Kangastop to maintain warranty coverage. We designed the machine to be low-maintenance - sealed bearings, enclosed drive system, and stainless steel fixings all contribute to that.
